Extraction and Quality Control
We would like to introduce a new service for DNA extraction, as well as DNA/RNA quality control as a stand-alone service.
- The DNA extraction service will include the extraction, purification, quality control, quantification and normalisation of the samples.
- The DNA quality control will involve checking the purity (Absorbance ratios) and concentration by picogreen, using the FluoStar from BMG Labtech. The integrity would be assessed by agarose gel.
- The RNA quality control would be performed in a similar fashion. Purity and concentration would be measured by the Fluostar to evaluate absorbance ratios and concentrations by ribogreen. We would use the bionanalyser (Agilent) to check the level of degradation.
