Since 2004, Cambridge Genomic Services has produced over 30 custom cDNA, oligonucleotide, BAC and protein arrays for a range of organisms including humans, mice, plants and parasites. With extensively optimized chemistries, flexible robotics and design expertise this allows the production of arrays with an excess of 35,000 features.

Cambridge Genomic Services houses a range of hardware and software for microarray experimentation. These resources are serviced, maintained, calibrated and upgraded on a regular basis, and some are available under the facilities cost recovery program.

We will produce the arrays and quality control them. Open access is provided to the instrumentation and software for array scanning and image analysis, and data exploration, if required. Bookings for these resources can be made in person or by contacting microarray@path.cam.ac.uk. New users must request training from the facility staff when organising their first booking.
