Cambridge Genomic Services provides researchers with access to high quality SNP genotyping, gene expression analysis (RNA and microRNA), methylation and printing services.
Our service uses the latest Illumina BeadArray technology and can process all of the Sentrix BeadChip and Array Matrix products available from Illumina. We have recently qualified as a certified service provider (CSPro) for gene expression. As Illumina state “Customers who use Illumina CSPro services receive the industry-leading data quality and service they would expect from Illumina”.
The facility also provides custom array solutions for a range of organisms having printed over 30 custom cDNA, oligo and BAC arrays for customers.
Based in the University of Cambridge’s Pathology department, we use purpose-built, environmentally-controlled laboratories and a wealth of experience in microarray experimentation, design, manufacture, quality control and analysis using, amongst others, InforSense Life Science Analytics. The service has already supported many internationally recognised research projects.
