Next-Generation Sequencing, Microarray and Analysis

About CGS

At Cambridge Genomic Services (CGS) we offer bespoke solutions for your high-throughput genomics and sequencing experiments. Our facility is based at the Department of Pathology, at the University of Cambridge. We have over 10 years experience in delivering start-to-end service through: experimental design, quality-control, library preparation, sequencing to computational analysis and visualisation of results. We offer a wide variety of techniques. Our highly-skilled team will assist you throughout your experiment providing support and feedback. We offer next-generation sequencing (NGS) on both Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms, We also can perform microarray analysis on both Affymetrix and Illumina platforms. We offer Genotyping services, methylation and epigenetic analysis together with 16s/amplicon sequencing analysis and custom experimental designs. We have a dedicated computational biology team that have over 20 years experience in analysis of complex genomic datasets. Our service offering is highly customised and extremely high-throughput, involving the latest generation of hardware including liquid handling robots for very large-scale projects. We work with you from start to finish, to ensure that you get the best possible results for your experiment. Projects that have come through our facility have been published in some of the most respected international journals (see News/Publications).
